The sixth Chip in for Mary Potter Golf Day was held on Friday 20 October 2017 at Grange Golf Club and raised a record $110,352! A much needed lounge for families of palliative patients will be built at Ardrossan Community Hospital and the remaining funds will continue to provide care in the Mary Potter Hospice.
Thanks to The Mary Potter Foundation's Patron Jenny Hurley, MC Jessica Adamson, guest speaker Stuart O'Grady, auctioneer Nathan Casserly, the wonderful 'Chip In' committee, Vicki Jordan, Paul Ellery, Tim Boylen and the three major sponsors Coopers, CUB and West End.

The three leading breweries were back on board in 2016 to ‘Raise a pint for Mary Potter’. Showing their tremendous community spirit, the brewers not only provided valuable sponsorship dollars to ensure a successful event, players also enjoyed raising a ‘pint or two’ of their quality products throughout the day.. Since the first event in 2012 the 'Chip in for Mary Potter' Golf Day has made significant improvements to the facilities and environment in which palliative patients and their families are supported in the renowned Mary Potter Hospice at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital and in regional hospitals in South Australia.
